Stand Your Creative Ground Gained from Experience

MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 1/11/2021

Theme, 7 of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. Seven is a number of action or lack of. Here, the action is a need to stand your creative ground. Be aware of times this week when it seem that others are trying to knock you off your feet because they want to be where you are. Acknowledge your experience and expertise, and recognize that you have achieved your position by virtue of your work.

Focus, The Wheel. This Major Arcana card is a reminder that what goes up must come down and vice versa. In order to not feel at the whim of fate, focus on how do you stay centered–in your life and especially in your creative work. Riding the Wheel can be exhilarating and fun but how will you stay centered through it all? Meditation? Exercise? How?

Action, 8 of Wands. Wands again, the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. This time, though, it is the Eight, a number of movement. Here the Wands fly through the air and the new growth is apparent on them. Here is the energy of forward motion, especially as regards current creative projects. The best way to stand your creative ground is to keep doing your creative work. Don’t let anything pull you away. Also, keep moving forward, not backwards trying to fix and make perfect. Stay in the creative flow.

Gift, 2 of Wands. Yet a third Wand, an indicator of an intensely creative week. Twos in the tarot are often about partnership or choice, a decision. Here, the gift is an invitation to cross a new threshold, to enter a yet undiscovered or unexplored realm of mystery and beauty. If you stand your creative ground this week, then the gift is an opportunity to explore new ground in your work, to cross a threshold into a new phase or development in your creative work.
