MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 10/18/2021
Theme, 10 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communications. Ten is a number of transition from completion to beginning again. At the end of a project or process or stage of creative development, where creative work is visible to others, criticisms, critiques, and rejections can immobilize or evoke the question of “What’s the use?” Don’t be a creative martyr by succumbing to the communications from others. Believe in your work and the strength of your vision.
Focus, 10 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition, and creativity. Here the ten suggests that you focus on how to move from being the creative martyr to experiencing a sense of fulfillment and contentment with your work. What have you learned from the communications? Do you need to share the moment(s) with someone you love and who believes in you? Do you need to share the vision for your next project with someone who will see and value it? How can you move from being the martyr to being someone who appreciates and acknowledges the creative journey and finds fulfillment in it?
Action, The Hermit. This Major Arcana card encourages you to seek silence and solitude this week in order to follow the vision for your work. Time to sit with your Muse in silence in order to hear her voice, and to tap into the inner wisdom that will give you the strength and guidance to follow the vision she shares with you. Her voice will help you ignore the voices of others.
Gift, The Devil. This Major Arcana card is often about addictions and bonds that keep us trapped or held back. But, the Devil also has a mischievous and playful side that, as a gift, helps you break those bonds, if you are willing to be honest with yourself and refuse to be the creative martyr. The Devil gives you the opportunity to face your demons and then playfully move forward with your work.
