Endings that Lead to New Beginnings

MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 7/22/24

Theme, Death. This Major Arcana card, number 13 in the Fool’s journey, speaks to endings. Endings are important in creativity because they make room for new beginnings. This week, be aware of the projects, processes, and paths in your creative work and career that need to end so new possibilities and beginnings can occur. That’s what the white rose in the image symbolizes–new beginnings.

Focus, Justice. Another Major Arcana card, number 11, occurring at the mid-point of the Fool’s journey, a place of balance. Justice teaches that every action has a reaction and that reaction will incur a consequence. Where do you need balance in your creative work? If you are ending a current project, what project pushes for you to begin? If you know the result or consequence you want, what actions do you need to take to produce that? Action and reaction can work in your favor if you are clear about your goals.

Action, Ace of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, and intuition. The Ace holds all the potential and possibility of the suit. It is the beginning of the suit. Thus, this Action card reinforces the Theme card. Time to begin anew with a creative project close to your heart, a project holding meaning and significance, a project that might have that feeling of a longed-for vision or dream, if you are open to it. The card tells you it is time to begin.

Gift, 4 of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. Four is a number of structure and stability. This is the gift given when you end something in order to begin anew, a sense of stability and commitment along with the opportunity to achieve a goal. This is the time to say “I do,” to a new creative project.
