MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 9/23/24
Theme, Queen of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, ideas, attitudes, beliefs, and communication. The Queen is the mistress of the element who sees clearly and with perspective. This week, see your creative work and path clearly, not to denigrate your work and its development, but to communicate about it in a direct, clear manner, with no false modesty. When you see your work with perspective and its value, you are able to help others see it as well.
Focus, Death. This Major Arcana card again encourages you to see your work and path clearly in order to make important decisions about it. What about your work has grown repetitive or tired and dull? What aspects of your work have lost their luster and excitement for you? What needs to end so you can begin anew? A genre or category or style? A medium or format? Even the time of day you create? What needs to end? What do you need to let go of, as suggested by the recent lunar eclipse?
Action, The Moon. This Major Arcana card suggests that it is important for you to be led by your intuition this week, after getting clear on your work’s value, and what in it needs to be let go of. Now would be a good time to keep track of your dreams and any intuitive messages you might receive through the week in the form of an overheard conversation, or a phrase from a song, or a headline, or even the unexpected appearance of a bird or animal.
Gift, The Chariot. The third Major Arcana card in this week’s reading asserts the importance and significance of this week for your creative work. Here, after doing the work of gaining perspective and seeing clearly, letting go of what needs to end, and tuning into your dreams and intuition, be prepared to receive the gift of success with speed. Rather than trying to control it, keep your eye on your vision or goal, and enjoy the ride.
