Theme, 5 of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. Five is a point of conflict or challenge. Pay attention this week to when you feel restless, unsettled, perhaps even bored while creating. It may be a sign that it is time to try something new in your work in order to grow and advance creatively. Acknowledge that restless energy when it shows up and challenge yourself to stretch, try something new, and grow.
Focus, The Hermit. This Major Arcana card asks if you are giving yourself enough time for silence and solitude. Is it time to give yourself over to reflection and observation in order to determine what that restlessness is about? Do you need to meditate or dream in order to discover the steps necessary to follow your creative visions? How will you carve out time for listening to your Muse? Remember that the Hermit is not only seeking for themselves but to also illuminate a path for others.
Action, Strength. Another Major Arcana card, this one suggesting you take action on that restless feeling and creative visions even if you are somewhat intimidated by them. If you give yourself time to distill those goals and desires from the noise around you, you’ll find the inner strength to continue to move forward. Trust your instincts and your ability to do what you need to do.
Gift, 2 of Wands. Another Wand having to do with creativity. The two is about choice, decision, and partnership. When you take time to acknowledge the restlessness, seek solitude, listen to your Muse and follow your instincts for incorporating something new into your work, you are given an opportunity to embrace new ideas, new opportunities, and possibly a way to incorporate more than one. The way is open to you if you trust yourself and step forward.
