Theme, 4 of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, and wealth, anything physical. Four is a number of stability, security. But…stability can easily turn into stagnation, especially when it comes to financial or other resources stability. Grip onto security too tightly and you’ll leave no room for more wealth or resources to come to you, or for growth to occur. This week, be aware of the temptation to hold on tightly to what you already have. Don’t let stability turn into stagnation in your finances or in the physical manifestation of your creativity.
Focus, Justice. This Major Arcana card is about bringing energies into balance. For the creative, it is often about bringing the inner world of musing and inspiration into balance with the outer world of learning and doing. Notice the play of opposites on the card–dark and light, sword and scroll, yin and yang. This week, ask yourself, “How am I maintaining my balance in my creative work? Am I giving enough attention to my inner life? To my outer work? What do I need to do to be better about maintaining that balance?”
Action, Ace of Coins. Again, Coins is the element of Earth. Ace is the beginnning, like a seed holding all potential and all possibilities. If you can let go of security enough to use a resource or “Coin” to take a first step in manifesting your creative work into the physical realm (canvas, page, etc.) then great growth is possible in that project. Just take that first step.
Gift, High Priestess. This Major Arcana card signifies what happens when you don’t let stability turn into stagnation. A small risk, a small letting go can lead you into deeper connection with your divine self, your source of inspiration and guidance that lends a depth and breadth to your work that is new and exciting. From the depths of the unconscious, new possibilities open to you.
