MONDAY’S TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 6/25/2018
Theme, Knight of Swords. The Knight is the champion of the realm. With his training and resources, he rides out to protect and serve the realm. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communication. This Knight knows how to use words to serve his cause. This week, look for opportunities to serve your creativity and creative work through your choice of words, on social media and in personal interactions. Be the champion for you and your work.
Focus, The Devil. This Major Arcana card shows the poor Fool at the mercy of the Devil–but only because he won’t look at what seems to control him. You can’t change a situation if you won’t look at it. Ask yourself, “What am I avoiding looking at around my creative work that keeps me from moving forward?”
Action, 8 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air, the realm of the mind. Eight is a number of moving toward completion. To move toward the completion of a project or some aspect of your work, you have to look at what’s holding you back. As if the Devil card wasn’t enough of a wake up call, it’s backed up or emphasized by this card. Remove the blindfold and you might find that freeing yourself is easier than you thought and that what seemed so big or intimidating was only made so in your mind, that your fears and self-doubts were unnecessary. Be that champion.
Gift, Judgement. This Major Arcana card is about a freedom of the spirit, a call to vision and purpose, a rebirth. When you brave up to look at what you tried not to see, you experience a freedom, the gift of vision and rebirth in your creative work. But first you have be a champion for your work and look at what holds you back.
