MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 8/7/23
Theme, Knight of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communication. The Knight is one who has the tools, training, and equipment to do the job. The Knight of Swords reminds you to take courageous charge of your creative path this week. Don’t make decisions out of fear but from the wisdom of past experience and knowledge you’ve gained.
Focus, The Fool. This Major Arcana card reminds you that every time you set forth to create, you are the Fool, with infinite potential within and without, willing to take risks for the sake of creative expression. What new forms, structures, or ideas do you dare to try when you take courageous charge of your creative path? What leaps into the unknown are you willing to take to begin a new journey? What creative risks are you willing to take for the reward of a deeper expression in your work?
Action, The Hanging Man. Another Major Arcana, this one at the middle of the Fool’s journey. This figure is about being willing to look at things in a new way, to make the effort to see things from a new perspective. While the Knight of Swords is about charging forth, that doesn’t mean you don’t take time throughout the week to pause and reflect in order to seek and gain new insights, just as you might pull over in your car to consult a map on your journey. The pause for reflection can shift understanding and provide new courage and confidence for the creative road ahead.
Gift, 5 of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. Five is usually a point of conflict in the tarot. Because this is in the position of gift, this suggests that when you reflect, dare, and charge courageously forward on your creative path, roles and responsibilities line up or move out of the way so that you can move forward in a new direction.
