Ready for Creative Transformation?

MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 7/1/2024

Theme, Death. This Major Arcana card can be frightening if you aren’t ready for change and transformation. This card is not usually about physical death but about the death of old structures and habits, of old ways of doing things, of thinking about things. This week, be alert to old ways of thinking and doing in your creative work that need to die in order for creative transformation to occur. What new ideas, projects, and possibilities will be born and grow if you are ready to release old creative habits and attitudes?

Focus, 10 of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, wealth, and anything physical. Ten is a number of completion, of coming full circle. What needs to be completed and let go of in your creative work and career in order for new life and growth to happen? Are you sacrificing new understandings and experiences for security? Do you appreciate what you have already created both in work and with an audience or community?

Action, The Sun. This Major Arcana card is in direct contrast to the first as it is all about life, health, power and energy. It is the light after the dark. The Sun offers clarity and confidence, and the warmth that nurtures the seeds. Now is the time to bring your new creative ideas into the light and see what grows from your imagination and creative energies, especially if you work in new ways, or with a new approach. And remember that your creative imagination and gifts bring light into the world around you. They are meant to be shared.

Gift, 4 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs, and communications. Four is a number of stability and structure. This card was in the position of Focus last week. This week, it is in the position of gift. Be ready to receive it after the intense work of letting go, taking risks, and nurturing creative seeds. Take time to rest and renew. You deserve it. And you’ll probably need it.
