MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 6/1/2020
Theme, 5 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition and creativity. Five in the tarot is a point of conflict or challenge. This week, be aware of moments when you might feel like holding back, playing it safe emotionally and creatively. Instead, be creatively courageous and stand up and step out with your ideas and creative work. The world needs your gifts.
Focus, 8 of Cups. Cups again, but this time it is the eight which encourages you to ask, “If I want to continue to move towards the dream or vision for my work, what do I need to let go of emotionally? Projects that hold no emotional energy any more? Relationships that no longer nurture me or the work? Or just old emotions that need to be released?”
Action, 4 of Cups. A third Cups card, but half of the Focus card, i.e. the 4 of Cups. Four is a number of stability, and sometimes, stagnation. It’s easy when feeling bored or frustrated to want to move on to a new project. But this week, while eyeing up that new idea, be sure to give time and attention to projects already at hand so that you move them closer to completion before getting bogged down with yet another one.
Gift, Queen of Cups. In this emotionally charged time, perhaps it is no surprise that we have four Cups cards this week. But what a nice gift to receive. The Queen is the mistress of the element of Water. She can be submerged in it but still be in control, go with the flow, and find the pearls of wisdom and beauty in its depth. When you are creatively courageous this week, the gift you receive is the ability to not feel out of your depth but instead find the gifts amidst the emotional turmoil.
