Time to Go with the Creative Flow

MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 4/29/2024

Theme, Page of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition, and creativity. The Page is the messenger, the youth with all their energy and enthusiasm. Yes, this Page has turned up in this position for the second week in a row. And, it turned up in the position of Action several weeks ago, so obviously this energy is strongly at play this month. For this week, look for when it is time to go with the creative flow of your work. Instead of allowing deadlines and other pressures to guide your creative work, allow the work to flow, following the current of impulse and enthusiasm. Yes, keep the deadlines in mind, but see where the work wants to lead you this week.

Focus, 5 of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, wealth, anything physical. Five is a midpoint, and in the tarot, often a place of conflict. Last week, the card in this position was the 6 of Coins, asking you to focus on the balance of resources. This week, the 5 of Coins asks if you are taking care of yourself as you move your work forward. Are you getting enough sleep, rest, healthy food, exercise? Are you taking frequent breaks? Staying tuned into the work is both exciting and exhausting so how are you managing your energy? Do you need to ask for help of some kind?

Action, 8 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water, once again. Eight is a number of movement. This week, when you follow your intuition, trust and go with the flow of your work, you find the strength to leave projects and/or relationships behind that you know are no longer fulfilling. Trusting your work and yourself brings you to a place where you can step into the future and let go of what doesn’t work any more. Let the past go.

Gift, 10 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communication. Ten is a number of completion and preparing to begin again. Although it doesn’t appear to be much of a gift, this card actually offers you the experience of enlightenment and wisdom from allowing yourself to follow the flow of your work–as long as you don’t indulge in feelings of being put upon or martyred to your work. If you accept that hard work and challenges are part of the experience, then you achieve new understandings and creative growth.
