MONDAY’S TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 9/10/2018
Theme, 4 of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, wealth–anything you can touch, taste or feel. Four is a number of stability, security. In an effort to feel secure, we often grip tightly to what we have instead of opening our hands and life to make space for new and even better to come in. Whether you are holding on to money, manuscripts, or “souvenirs” from the past, it’s time to open your hands and arms to let go and make space.
Focus, High Priestess. In this Major Arcana card, the High Priestess is a threshold guardian, the one who shows the way, who can help you access the deeper knowledge and wisdom of your creative work. How will you make space for her to help you go deeper into your work? Through meditation? A walk? Or simply sitting quietly and staring out the window?
Action, 8 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communication. Eight is twice four. Once you open up to make space for more to come into your creative work, doubts, fears and misbeliefs could hang you up. Remove the blindfold to see what they are doing to you because not looking at them just makes them bigger (Jupiter). Grab one of those swords and free yourself so you can move forward in your work.
Gift, Queen of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. The Queen is the mistress of the element, fierce in her passions and confident in herself. After doing the work of the previous cards, invoke the presence of this queen, either as yourself now in your work, or as someone in your circle who can support and role model for you.
