MONDAY’S TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 2/18/2019
Theme, 3 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communication. Three is early in the journey through the suit. Here, at this stage of the journey, you are to release grief that impedes your creative work. Grief can immobilize you, sap your energy and motivation–especially if you are sitting on it, trying to ignore it or stuff it away in a closet in your mind. Look for opportunities this week to acknowledge the grief and release it.
Focus, 10 of Swords. One of those cards that people hate to see in a reading. Once again in the realm of the mind, but the number 10 is at that tipping point between finishing and beginning anew. The question or focus for you this week is, “Am I going to let the criticisms (internal or external), rejections and disappointments make me give up, or am I going to refuse to give up and start anew?”
Action, 10 of Wands. And if you haven’t gotten the message about releasing and letting go, here’s another card to strengthen it. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. Sometimes we carry our creative work past its completion point. This week, put down, release some of the creative projects or responsibilities you’ve been carrying for too long. You want to make room for the new, exciting creative project that fires up heart and soul. Put down the load. Rest and prepare for the new project.
Gift, 6 of Wands. Again, in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work, this card, just past the mid-point, shows you success and reminds you to celebrate both current and past successes. When you release grief and move back into your creativity, success is there.
The deck used is Tarot Grand Luxe by Ciro Marchetti which will be released by US Games sometime this year.
