MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 11/15/2021
Theme, 8 of Cups. Cups is the element of Water in the realm of heart, emotions, dreams, intuition, and creativity. Eight in the tarot is about movement of some kind. Here, it is about moving away from old emotions, old emotional attachments, in order to reach for the new creative dream or vision (the sign of Pisces). You can’t move forward until you release the past. Look for moments this week, when you can let go, even when it is painful to do so. Free your work and yourself in order to move forward.
Focus, The Empress. This Major Arcana card invites you to ask yourself, “How am I the source for boundless creativity? How does my work create beauty and a connection to the senses? How does my work point to the joy of being alive?”
Action, The Hanging Man. Another Major Arcana card that suggests this week you seek out time to hang upside down. That is, give yourself the opportunity to cease movement long enough to gain new perspectives and understandings about your creative work and path. As you move toward the new dream, give yourself time to meditate, contemplate, and look at your work in a new way, in a way that will benefit others as well as yourself.
Gift, 9 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communications. Nine is a number of completion and intensity. Sometimes, the closer to the end of a creative project you get, the more you worry about putting it out in the world. This week, give yourself the gift of sleeping well, of dreaming without fear. Nightmares are often unfinished dreams. Finish the dreams to find the gifts within. Here’s your opportunity to stop obsessing over perfection and the what-ifs.
