Time to Renew Your Love for Your Creative Work?

MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 10/21/24

Theme, The Lovers. This Major Arcana card is about love, yes, but about love that is harmonious, committed, and connected to something greater than oneself or one’s partner. This card is also about choice, and whether to make the easy choice or the right choice and the responsibilities that come with it. This week, be aware of the choices you are making in your creative work or project, and how those choices serve to strengthen your love for and commitment to your work and to your audience. The Muse blesses conscious creation that combines both the divine and the mundane.

Focus, 3 of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs, and communication. Three is a dynamic number of creativity and change, the flowering of something. Here, the flowering is of disappointment or heartbreak. As a creative, disappointment and heartbreak are familiar through rejections, criticisms, lack of sales. But are you going to focus on the disappointments and heartbreaks, or on the next idea or project or step along your creative path? The card number is three, not eight or nine or ten. You are just at the beginning of a phase or journey. Will you let the criticisms and rejections keep you from moving forward?

Ace of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career, and work. Ace is the beginning, and holds all the potential of the suit. Essentially, if you can let go of disappointments, renew your love for your creative work, and stay connected to divine insight and inspiration, then you’ll discover a new idea or project ready to burst forth, bringing with it the overwhelming desire to create. Be ready to act. Clear space, line up resources, and rest when you can.

Gift, 3 of Coins. Coins is the element of Earth in the realm of home, health, and wealth, anything physical. Three, again, is the number of creativity, change, and the flowering of something. Note the sacred structure in the background, the idea of creation that contains both the sacred and the mundane as mentioned in The Lovers. When you renew your love for your work, let go of and move past disappointments and rejections, and prepare to receive and act on that new idea or inspiration, then you are given the resources to manifest that idea into physical form. Again, be ready.
