MONDAY TAROT MESSAGE FROM THE MUSE, 8/31/2020
Theme, Knight of Swords. Swords is the element of Air in the realm of mind, thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and communication. The Knight is the champion, the one willing to get out into the kingdom to serve it. Note the tornado on this card, an element of air with strength and power that moves out, not staying in one place. This week, spread the word far and wide about your creative work, using air, i.e. social media, email, podcasts. Don’t be shy or falsely modest. Communicate with strength and confidence.
Focus, Ace of Wands. Wands is the element of Fire in the realm of spirit, creativity, career and work. The Ace of any suit holds all the potential and gifts of that suit. This week, ask yourself, “What creative project has been pushing at me to get to work on it? What creative desire has so much energy and passion with it that I can’t wait any longer to do something with it?”
7 of Swords. Swords again, the element of Air in the realm of the mind. The seven is a number of thinking about taking action or beginning to take action. Here, the burglar is sneaking in the window to steal those two swords which might represent your confidence and belief in your work. Instead of worrying about him getting in, why not shut the window on communications from others–and from yourself–that make you doubt your creative abilities to get your work out into the world.
2 of Wands. Wands again, the element of Fire in the realm of your creative work. The Ace was in the position of Focus, and the Two shows up in the position of gift. Two is a number of balance, choice, decision. But, instead of an either/or decision, the gift is an opportunity for both/and. Look for the gift, this week, of bringing together two aspects or passions of your creative work in a new and innovative way.
